Blown away...

Today Jamie and I headed north to Southwick Beach State Park on Lake Ontario. The sun was out for the most part, the wind was blowing like crazy. It was pretty chilly but Sam and Lucas had a BLAST in the waves. Darius was content to sit with mom and dad and hang on the beach. He did get his toes in and showed daddy how he could kick but then back to the beach. It was a great family day.

Full day ahead

Today we are going to go bowling and lunch with friends, then I am getting my tattoo and then off to the fireworks! Should be tons of fun. Hmm...wonder when I'm going to fit in the house cleaning?

Right now it is sunny and windy but storms are supposed to be coming. Hope they come and go by fireworks time.

It's still Friday for me

Even though the clock says 12:13..to me it's still Friday and I am getting my post a day in ;).

Today the boys and I went to the beach and then I had to work at the hospital. Cannot cannot wait to be done!

All in all it was a very good day though.

sunshine....finally

Today I took the boys to the beach....ahhhhh...finally the sun shone all afternoon. It was so nice to sit and watch them play and feel the sun beat down. Darius had a game tonight and it was perfect out. Should be good sleeping weather tonight. Tomorrow I'm hoping to take them for a little while to the beach before I have to go to work.

Two weeks from tomorrow is my last evening at the hospital! YIPPEEEEE

Birthday resolutions...

Well..today is my birthday! Woohoo! I am resolving to try and do a post a day to chronicle this year of my life. It may just be a picture or a caption or it may be an entire post. Going to share what I'm doing with the boys, my crafting, my home and my life.

The day started with making Italian Bread from scratch (for the 1st time!)...long process but worth it. I made garlic bread from it for dinner.





Then we went to the beach in the afternoon...probably one of the last times this season..sigh..so sad about that....





The end of the season is starting to feel a little like my toenails look...faded and not quite so shiny as the beginning..
